A. Personal Information

When you sign in using Google Sign-In, we collect basic profile information provided by Google, including:

  • Email Address
  • Profile Picture
  • User ID (Unique identifier assigned by Google)

B. Health and Fitness Data

To function as a fitness and nutrition tracker, IronPath collects and stores data you voluntarily input, including:

  • Workout History: Exercises performed, weight lifted, sets, reps, and duration.
  • Nutrition Data: Meals logged, calorie counts, and macronutrient information.
  • Body Metrics: Weight, height, and other physical metrics you choose to track.

C. Device and Usage Data

We may automatically collect certain information about your device, including:

  • Device model and manufacturer.
  • Operating system version.
  • IP address.
  • App usage data (e.g., features used, time spent in the app) to help us improve user experience.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To Provide Services: To authenticate your identity, sync your workout and nutrition history across devices, and maintain your streaks/progress.
  • To Improve the App: To analyze usage trends and fix technical issues (bugs/crashes).
  • To Personalize Experience: To display your name and profile picture within the app and calculate nutrition or workout recommendations based on your logs.
  • Account Management: To manage your account, including data synchronization and deletion requests.

4. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services to facilitate our App’s functionality. These services have their own privacy policies governing the use of your data.

  • Google Firebase: We use Firebase (a service by Google) for:
    • Authentication: To manage user sign-ins securely.
    • Firestore Database: To store your workout and nutrition data in the cloud.
    • Analytics: To understand how users interact with the app.
  • Google Sign-In: Used to authenticate users without requiring a separate password for IronPath.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Retention: We retain your personal information and health data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services.

Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your data.

  • In-App Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data directly within the app by navigating to Profile > Settings > Delete Account.
  • Manual Request: You may also contact us at the email below to request data deletion.

6. Security of Your Data

The security of your data is important to us. We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) to transmit data between your device and our servers (Firebase). However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

7. Children’s Privacy

IronPath is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Effective Date” at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
